Following the pilot last year, the finale was this year in the Freedom Festival Hull.
Anna Ingleby of Indigo Moon Theatre,Joanna Coates photographer extraordinaire, Catherine Scott poet and rapper, and myself were selected by young women in the Warren Youth Project in Hull, to generate and facilitate development from our respectives workshops, in the context of Art celebrating Equality and Diversity.
It was fantastic to see what these outcomes were, generated from the workshops and developing from last year. Talented and undiscovered voices in the making delivered powerful poetry and imagery.
Watch this space to see the docu-film produced by Katie Sunley of Fly Girl Films, when it's ready and online.

Hull Tales from the Warren and Freedom Festival
It was really exciting working in the incredible city of Hull, with the fantastic team of young people from the Warren: artwork, drawings, collage, diagrams, photography, poems, raps and puppet creation /performance were full on for the entire workshops program, celebrating equality for women.
The outcomes featured at several venues around the city, including the central library (see pics) ...
It was great to be working alongside with rapper poet Catherine Scott, photographer and adventurer Jo Coates, and puppet genius Anna Ingleby, of Indigo Moon Theatre.
Things are still developing and ongoing, until the Hull City of Culture events in 2017 where we will be featuring many more creative outcomes!!!
A ebook will soon be available online,in the interim.
